This rarely performed play set in the disused tennis court of a large country house, is an absolute gem. Described by the playwright as ‘a ghost play’, Snake in the Grass is also a black comedy and at the same time a sinister, psychological thriller.

Following the death of their tyrannical father, Annabel returns to the family home after twenty years abroad, to be re-united with her sister Miriam. As they get to know each other again, they find themselves haunted by the terrifying ghosts of their past.

Starring Susan Wooldridge as Annabel, Sarah Woodward as Miriam, and Mossie Smith as Alice, it’s a must-see on a dark and windy night…
