Amit Rai Sharma – Sound Director

Amit Rai Sharma is a musician, composer and sound artist based in London. His sound practice is informed both by his education in Fine Art and Applied Psychology. When working in collaboration with other artists, the sound is used to create additional ‘spaces’ for the audience. These created ‘spaces’ hold further entry points to the work for the audience, and allow for additional dialogues with the work overall.

Amit is currently working on an on-going long-distance collaboration titled ‘Letters’ with an artist in Taiwan (started June 2016). Most recently he has performed and installed work at The Muse Gallery in JUL 2017, Four Corners Gallery in DEC 2016, St. Mary Magdalene Church & Rosenfeld Porcini Gallery in AUG 2016 (in a previous collaboration with Bongsu Park), and the Old Truman Brewery in OCT 2015.
