A Beautiful Ending

8 & 9 June

Print Room at the Coronet presents the London premiere of:

A Beautiful Ending

Written and directed by Mohamed El Khatib
Print Room, Studio 7:30pm

Using interviews with his mother, Mohamed El Khatib had been working on translating passages. But when she passes away, he is left with a void in his life and a project without an end.

Instead he is left with snapshots of a life…newspaper extracts, old emails, telephone messages, videos and recordings. Together they delicately conjure up memories as Mohamed comes to terms with his loss.

Mohamed El Khatib was the hit of last year’s Avignon Festival and is now acclaimed as one of the leading voices in French contemporary theatre. A Beautiful Ending is a haunting but often funny account of a monumental moment in his life.

In French with English surtitles.

Running Time 60 Minutes

Supported by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, as part of its series En Scène.
